Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading global provider of heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years of experience in industrial products for the Key Account Manager job. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth with the assigned key customer accounts in the Service – Food & Water Division in line with the South-East Asia Sales Company targets and objectives
  • Manage an assigned key customer relationship, including formulating and driving a specific customer account strategy to encompass the complete long-term relationship between the company and the customer
  • Conduct Market and Customer analysis and mapping to define business potential and opportunities
  • Develop, implement, follow up local sales activities for/with the relevant key account(s) or markets to meet growth targets and goals
  • Plan and execute a systematic follow-up on all relevant steps in the KAM sales process to capture all possible business
  • Initiate, develop and manage the core activity and develop the appropriate business strategies
  • Define long term strategic goals, build key customer relationship, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and close business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Provide leadership to the commercial and business development team, through addressing the commercial, technical and operational aspects of potential customer
  • Overlooking day-to-day business process and in collaboration with the operation team to identify potential client and provide a recommendation for improvements
  • Develop solutions, strategies, and assessment of current industry impact to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity, in line with the company’s strategy
  • Managing pricing cost of service and customer requirement

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a commercial discipline from a reputable university
  • Minimum 10 years experience in handling products: heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling
  • Strong network and knowledge in palm oil & refinery market
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining external relationships at senior levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with teams and networks and influence outcomes at many levels in an organization
  • Excellent project management skills – with the ability to identify critical path issues and develop solutions to keep a program on track
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are mandatory
  • Medium to high-level computer skills including spreadsheets, databases
  • Influencing and networking skills
  • Strong strategic purchasing and negotiations skills are required
  • Track-record of business development
  • Strong problem-solving ability and effective employee management experience
