Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational company in the flexible plastic packaging industry with a global presence across multiple countries.
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager with at 10 years of experience with strong exposure in flexible plastics packaging and a strong network within global accounts. This job is based in Tangerang, Indonesia.
Job Responsibilities
- Create strategy and action to develop local and global accounts
- Lead the development account plans and coordinate actions within the business
- Identify a comprehensive understanding of customer needs – both long term and short term - and identify key buying factors beyond purchasing
- Assess account opportunities, account trends and define aspirations
- Manage sales forecast accuracy for each SKU quarterly and develop a sales forecast for the next two years
- Build partnership across customer organization allowing both parties to extract value
- Build a strong relationship with senior clients beyond purchasing
- Conduct systematic performance reviews with key customer
- Identify and drive profitable growth and actions to improve bottom-line
- Assess account economics and assess opportunities to cover leakages
- Develop and maintain an action plan for how key accounts will achieve targets, identify specific actions to improve earnings
- Offer global capabilities or advanced technology in flexible packaging products
- Develop negotiation arguments
- Manage negotiation planning
- Execute negotiations
- Coordinate information flow and action planning with relevant functions (cross-functional team coordination)
- Create collaborative customer/supplier CI teams
Job Requirements
- Willing to be located in Tangerang
- Bachelor’s Degree in all majors, background in Engineering is preferable
- At least 10 years of relevant B2B sales and marketing including management experience
- Relevant experience in the Flexible packaging or related manufacturing industry preferred with a strong network within global accounts
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of cultures (Western and Asian) and functions both internally and externally (Bahasa Indonesia & English)
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing industry dynamics and redirect efforts
- Ability to work under pressure managing multiple priorities
- Analytical capability with a strategic mindset
- Goal-oriented with the ability to translate the strategy into actionable plans
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated, proactive, able to work under pressure and take responsibility
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
